Is Flashpage really free?
Yes. Flashpage is free to download and use. If you'd like to support development, you can donate — but it's entirely optional.
Do I need an account?
No account, ever. Flashpage runs entirely on your own computer with no sign-up and no cloud.
Where are my notes stored?
As plain Markdown files in a folder on your computer that you fully own. Back them up by copying that one folder.
Which platforms are supported?
Flashpage is a desktop app for Windows (10 and 11, 64-bit) and Linux (64-bit packages for Ubuntu / Debian and Fedora). There is no macOS build yet — see the install page for details.
